A Warning to the Other Woman

category

Young woman, with intentions so bold,
You dial our number, with a story untold.
You know Kane is married, you know I’m his wife,
Yet you pursue him, with a reckless life.

This line you’re calling, is our family’s tie,
A bond of love, that you’re trying to deny.
If your aim is to break our home apart,
And hand me a divorce, with a shattered heart.

Let me tell you, Kane is a good man, indeed,
A cheerful giver, with a heart that proceeds.
He’s a CEO, with a successful career,
But little do you know, he works for my father, dear.

By the time you break this home, and tear us apart,
Kane will be left with nothing, no job, no start.
I know he funds your education, and your vacations too,
But don’t think for a moment, that I’m unaware of what you do.

I’m not stopping him, from supporting you financially,
But know your place, in his life, don’t pretend to be family.
If you want this cash flow, to continue and grow,
Encourage him to be a good husband, and father, don’t you know.

Don’t sabotage our home, with your sly designs,
For when you do, you’ll be left with nothing that shines.
So heed this warning, and take a step back,
For I won’t let you destroy, what we’ve built on this track.

Good night, young woman, may wisdom guide you,
And may you find your way, before you lose what’s true.
