Ojukwu Nnam, father dear and true,
Your support and love, forever I’ll hold anew.
With courage in your heart, you let me fly,
To distant lands, to marry and to serve on high.
You gave your only child, to a foreign shore,
And to the military, where duty’s call I’d roar.
Your trust in me, was all you had to give,
And with that gift, my strength and heart could live.
Your guidance and wisdom, helped me find my way,
Through life’s challenges, come what may.
You brewed me into a strong and capable woman,
Equipped to face the world, with a spirit that’s unbroken.
I thank you, dear father, for your unwavering might,
For being my rock, my shelter in the night.
Your love and support, know no bounds, it’s true,
And I, your child, will forever be grateful to you.
