Appearance is more than just a face,
Or a body that’s pleasing to the eye’s trace,
It’s the beauty within, that shines so bright,
A character that’s strong, and a heart that’s light.
Your inner grace, is what draws me near,
A beauty that’s untainted, by tears or fear,
Your kindness, your compassion, your love so true,
These are the things, that make my heart renew.
Broken legs, and bruised faces, may mar,
The exterior shell, that we present to the stars,
But our love is deeper, it’s a bond that’s strong,
It sees beyond the surface, to the beauty that’s long.
My wife, my love, my heart, my everything,
You are the sunshine, that makes my heart sing,
Your beauty is more, than just a physical sight,
It’s the love we share, that makes our bond take flight.
So let the world, try to tear us apart,
Our love will stand strong, and forever in our heart,
For true beauty lies, in the love we share,
And that my dear, is the greatest beauty to spare.
