In fields of gold, where sunflowers tall
A young farmer’s son, did once stand at all
With dreams of more, than the land could give
He joined the army, to make a life to live
He rose through ranks, with honor true
From Lance Corporal, to General, anew
His heart remained humble, his spirit bold
As he led his troops, to victories untold
With every step, his star did rise
From son of a farmer, to rich father’s guise
Three children blessed, his family’s pride
Their future bright, his legacy inside
His story’s told, in annals of time
A soldier’s rise, from fields to sublime
A tale of courage, of will and might
From fields to fame, a shining light.
Note: This poem follows the story of a young farmer’s son who rises through the ranks in the army, becoming a general, and builds a successful life for himself and his family.
