I’m a Hindu, a seeker

category

In the land of a thousand gods, I find my home
A universe of deities, each one a unique tone
Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, the Trimurti I adore
The cycles of creation, preservation, and destruction, I explore

Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, I invoke
Lakshmi, the goddess of fortune, my heart’s spoke
Saraswati, the river of knowledge, my soul’s delight
Krishna, the divine prince, my spirit’s light

The Vedas, my sacred texts, a wisdom so grand
The Upanishads, a philosophy, that guides my hand
Karma and reincarnation, the cycle I embrace
Dharma, my duty, my path, my soul’s sacred space

Brahman, the ultimate reality, my heart’s quest
The absolute truth, that transcends all the rest
A universal consciousness, that pervades all time
The essence of existence, that makes my spirit align

In the diversity of deities, I find unity
A tapestry of beliefs, that sets my soul free
I’m a Hindu, a seeker, a wanderer in this land
With multiple deities, and Brahman, my heart and soul expand.
