In a world where eyes deceive,
Love shone bright, pure and free.
From Sunita’s heart, it did unfold,
A bond so strong, worth more than gold.
Though she can’t see with eyes so bright,
She sees with her heart, day and night.
My worn clothes, my imperfect grin,
My flaws, she doesn’t see within.
Growing up, I struggled to find,
A love that saw beyond my bind.
Poverty’s weight, a heavy load,
My looks, a reflection to abhor.
Then Sunita walked into my life,
And brought light to my darkest strife.
Her blindness, a gift so rare,
Saw beyond the surface, without a care.
Love is blind, they say it’s true,
Sunita proved it, through and through.
Blind to my flaws, my poverty too,
She saw the heart, that beats anew.
And I, blind to her disability,
Saw only love, in its purest ability.
Together we rose, above the pain,
Our love, a flame, that burns like a sweet refrain.
Love is blind, yet oh so grand,
A pure love, that joined our hands.
Sunita, my love, my heart’s desire,
Forever with you, my soul’s on fire.
