My morning prayers, a humble plea
Not for wealth or health, but gratitude to see
The beauty of life, the love that’s true
A family that cares, and friends who see me through
I don’t ask for more, or seek to harm
My heart is full, with a thankful form
I pray for nothing, but to express
My gratitude for life, and all its blessings, I confess
In the stillness, I find my voice
A whispered thanks, for life’s precious choice
To live, to love, to laugh, to grow
A gift from above, that I hold dear, and know
My prayers are simple, yet profound
A thanksgiving heart, that echoes all around
.
A poem to promote prayer of thanksgiving
