After exercising their option to acquire the rights of the player Joselu Mato from RCD #Espanyol, Real Madrid CF has reached an agreement with Al-Gharafa SC regarding the #transfer of our player.
Joselu started playing for Real Madrid in the academy in 2010 at the age of 20 when he joined #Castilla, where he played for 2 seasons and was involved in the promotion to the Second Division in the 2011-2012 campaign.
Joselu has made 49 appearances for Real Madrid this 2023-2024 season, scoring 18 goals and winning three trophies: 1 Champions League, 1 LaLiga and 1 Spanish Super Cup.
His two goals in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against #Bayern München saw Joselu play a very important role in reaching the final at Wembley and winning the 15th European Cup.
