A husband, father, and guiding light,
The head of the house, a beacon in sight.
He brings home the bread, pays the bills with care,
Though not all, his presence is always fair.
His children look up to him with eyes so wide,
Their father, their hero, always by their side.
He disciplines with love, and teaches with grace,
A role model, a mentor, in every single place.
But little do they know, behind the scenes,
A son to his wife, with a heart that beams.
He takes the scolding, the nagging, and the stress,
And still finds a way to be a helping hand, we must confess.
In the kitchen, he lends a hand,
A partner in cooking, a bond to withstand.
Together they chop, they dice, they sauté with love,
A team, a duo, sent from above.
His presence puts everyone in check,
A calm in the storm, a gentle correct.
The wife, the children, they all know his might,
And respect him, day and night.
But oh, the love he has for his family dear,
A love so strong, so pure, so clear.
He’d move mountains, he’d cross seas,
For the ones he loves, he’d do it with ease.
So here’s to the husband, the father, the son,
The pillar of the home, the day is won.
May his love, his guidance, and his care,
Be the foundation, that’s always there.
