Growing up in Nigeria’s shore,
I dreamed of love that knew no borders more,
A European husband, a heart that’s true,
Together we’d serve, in military blue.
I envisioned us, raising a family with grace,
Traveling the world, leaving a trail of love and pace,
Kennedy, my love, you made those dreams come real,
You’re the sunshine that brightens every feel.
In your arms, I found solace and peace,
You’ve been both father and mother, my heart’s release,
When duty called me away from home’s embrace,
You held our family close, with a loving grace.
Through every deployment, every distant shore,
You kept our family strong, and our love forever more,
I’m grateful for your love, your support and care,
Forever with you, my love, I’ll be, wherever I may fare.
