    A young soul trapped in a world of concrete and steel

    Gazing out the window, his eyes yearn to feel

    The warmth of freedom, the touch of the sun’s rays

    But the ghetto’s grip holds tight, a relentless gaze

     

    Dreams of escape, of a life untamed

    Echoes of hope, in a world proclaimed

    Broken promises, shattered like the glass

    That shatters on the sidewalk, a reflection of his past

     

    His eyes, a window to a deeper pain

    A longing to break free, to love, to live again

    The world outside moves fast, a blur of sound and color

    While he remains, suspended, in a life of dull surrender

     

    Yet, in his gaze, a spark remains

    A glimmer of defiance, a refusal to be tamed

    A young heart beats strong, with a fire that won’t cease

    A determination to rise, to find release.
