Agnes my healing balm – a romantic poem

category

Agnes, oh Agnes, a vision to behold,
Tall and beautiful, like a glass of wine, so bold.
Your smile, a radiant beam, that lights up the day,
Your laughter, a melody, that chases all my fears away.

As a nursing student, your care and compassion shine,
Your dedication, a virtue, that’s truly divine.
I can’t help but feel drawn, to your gentle grace,
And wish that I could be, the patient in your embrace.

Oh, Agnes, I can’t wait, to fall sick and be tended by you,
To feel your gentle touch, and your caring gaze, so true.
Your skilled hands, a balm, that heals the soul,
Your kindness, a medicine, that makes my heart whole.

Though I’m healthy and strong, I’ll pretend to be ill,
Just to feel your care, and your loving will.
For in your presence, I find peace, and a sense of calm,
And with you by my side, my heart beats with a sweet balm.

Agnes, dear Agnes, you’re a treasure, so rare,
A gem, that shines so bright, beyond compare.
Keep shining, dear one, and know that I adore,
The beauty, that you are, and the care, that you store.
