Annie, my love, my heart’s desire,
Europe granted me a jackpot, a fortune to acquire.
What better way to give back, to this continent so fair,
Than to take you on a journey, to show you its hidden care.
We’ll start in Rome, where ancient ruins tell a tale,
Of a civilization that once flourished, and left a legacy to hail.
We’ll walk through the Roman Forum, where history comes alive,
And see the Colosseum, where gladiators once fought and thrived.
Then we’ll make our way, to the city of water and light,
Venice, the picturesque, where canals shimmer with delight.
We’ll take a gondola ride, through the winding waterways,
And see the beauty of this city, in a unique and romantic way.
I am your merchant of Venice, your guide and your friend,
Together we’ll explore, this city that will never end.
We’ll see the Doge’s Palace, and St. Mark’s Square so grand,
And know that our love is strong, in this ancient land.
We’ll travel to other cities, to see the art and the grace,
Of Europe’s rich heritage, in every single place.
We’ll see the Mona Lisa, in the Louvre’s hallowed halls,
And feel the energy of Paris, in its fashionable walls.
We’ll visit the Uffizi Gallery, in Florence so divine,
And see the masterpieces, of Michelangelo and Botticelli’s fine.
We’ll stroll through the gardens, of Versailles so serene,
And know that our love is strong, in this European dream.
Annie, my love, this jackpot is our key,
To a world of adventure, and a life so carefree.
We’ll travel through Europe, and see its wonders so bright,
And know that our love is strong, in this journey we’re taking tonight.
