Little hands, so pure and kind
Dropping coins, a heartfelt find
In a bowl, a beggar’s plea
A child’s compassion, wild and free
Born with love, we take our first breath
Innocence abounds, no room for death
Of empathy, of kindness true
But then society’s lessons shine through
Fear and hate, they slowly creep
Marginalizing, souls asleep
The world outside, a jaded view
But still, this child’s heart shines anew
In a market bustling, loud and wide
A small act of kindness won’t subside
A glimmer of hope, a light in the fray
A child’s love, guides the way
May we learn from this youthful grace
And let our true nature fill the space
For kindness is inbuilt, a birthright true
Let’s nurture it, and see it shine through.
